other people who are fabulous just like you

My name is Trevor Lamberty, you can call me Aspieboy. i am 14 years old and from a town of 632 people. I am socially awkward yet fun to be around if you are willing to get to know me! I don't like it when people call others or things 'gay' because i don't understand why people must always make fun of people's orientation or lifestyles if they are not willing to laugh at themselves. i have always had trouble adjusting to society! When i graduate from high school, i plan to go to Hopkin's and become an oncologist. the reason is that i want to help people fight cancer and possibly find a cure! Don't be afraid to add me as a friend, and if you are newly diagnosed with Asperger's, if you would like to ask me some questions, i may be able to help you feel better about being on the Spectrum! Oh, BTW ,i like making fun of myself for being Aspie. I joke about it a lot, and if it offends you, please tell me, and i will tone it down. Realize please that when i do make fun of Aspie, i am NOT in any way trying to put you down, or make you feel uncomfortable, i just believe that the brain is out of our control, and you need to learn to laugh at yourself every now and then!!!

I so have to agree with Robin (very nice avatar, btw, so bishonen!) As a person who lives for words, knowing their true meaning and hearing them abused by people who are insecure with themselves makes me just want to throw a dictionary at them! So nice to be here.

Lots of love!

Fighting cancer; I am rooting for you. In my music I am fighting so that every American can have access they can afford to the healthcare they need. I believe money should not come for anyone between getting the healthcare they need, including treatment for cancer. With your interest in becoming a physician (an oncologist) I would like to ask you to please visit http://www.pnhp.org. Physicians for a National Health Program. I think you will become a very good oncologist. Yes, Aspies can do it too. Almost everybody in our history that was a genius had some amount of autism.

Some extent I make fun of myself being an aspie. I like the song of Donna Williams "All Be Happy." I have a copy of her CD, Mutation.

You did mention fustration of people, probably thinking you were gay. I had that problem too. In my 20's a whole bunch of neighbors thought I was gay. One asked "Are you gay?" "No!" "Thank you for being honest!" "At least I don't think I am!" I have been happily married for 22 years; but that too didn't come easy; didn't come till I was 32.

Here is one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xYKohJTKNI of my songs caught on YouTube during a musicians open mic project.

I hope to hear from you.

Bear Hugs,
John, also known as Hai (sounds like high)
