John Henry Lionheart said… - Doign pretty good myself. My son, he's a ten year old Aspie, is having a rough time. He is in the fourth grade, Berkeley Public, or was. I'm homeschooling him now. He was getting more and more socially ostracized and withdrawn. He was absolutely hating school, it was torture for him and for me trying to get him to go, when I increasingly couldn't see that the value of it was outweighing the negative self-esteem damage he was taking. He talked to no other kids at school, and no one talked to him, not even his best friend, who gradually dropped the friendship. Check out my website http://EinsteinsClubhouse.org (the old EinsteinSyndrome.org site, a new name. The idea of it is what kind of things would Einstein have had in his clubhouse.
