HI Wendy. I've had a busy schedule the past 2 or 3 months and my web presence has been sporadic in the past 3 weeks, especially.
I see things that we may have in common. However, I see a couple of things that may create difficult interactions. But I am willing to give a wait and see regarding compatibility.
Hi Wendy,
I'm a little confused how this aspiesocial stuff works. Thanks for being my friend. My son is zen how? you ask. Well, first of all he used to meditate at age 3 or 4 all by himself without being coached or seeing me or anybody do it. Secondly, we were at a Rainbow Family summer gathering in 2003 I think, and we camped next to the guru tent where all the heavy mediation teachers were hanging out, and he would dance through their campfires in the most carefree way, creating quite a nice disturbance (he was 6 or so at the time) and his favorite bedtime movie is Little Buddha with keanu reeves who has aspergers, and he asked to lead a meditation workshop at Rainbow, but I didn't understand how he could be serious, and once when he was five a friend invited me to attend a darshan (I had never gone to one and had never talked about or heard about them), and I asked him casually "do you want to go to a darshan", and he just as casually replied, "no, too much talking." - which I thought was an odd comment, until I went to the darshan, and damn, if he wasn't right!!
