I've uploaded another important video, MSNBC interview with Wendell Potter, a former high up of Cigna, a Health Insurance Company. This really touches us with an ASD, because it is harder for us to obtain the kind of jobs that let us have health insurance here in the USA.

Hello Rainbow. I have another site that I think may be of interest; you may even want to share with your American friends. YouTube of Dr. Claudia Fegan MD, also a member of Physicians for a National Health Program. YouTube video of this powerful member http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37qSJIkwTRs. I hope you will pass info around.

One of my songs is titled "Ken's Song" inspired by someone from Greensburgh PN, there is a verse in it about an American lady Carola Kananya who married a Canadian husband, both between jobs so moved to Canada where they could both have insurance. While living in Canada she had severe headaches, a cat scan revealed a large meningeal brain tumor, which was successfully removed at the Montreal Neurologic Hospital.

Sweet Carola, I know you told me, the Canadian healthcare is what we need to see,
though warned, about their long waits and strife, it was their health system that saved your life.

I use to have good job with good health insurance benefit; till they downsized and I got layed off. I was there for 9 years. Currently, I have no insurance, my wife has some through Medicare Disability. I have a different job paying half of what I use to make. They offer health insurance benefit, but it's not affordable; especially when you only make $7.50/hr.

Rainbow. Welcome Aboard. You have found a caring ning of friendly people. Typing is a strength, since my handwriting is not the best. I am a folk musician/singer/songwriter. I am also a Christian, born again. You may enjoy coming to know Dave and Margaret Wittnebert, also on this ning. I drink a little; some say Christians don't drink; I'm not a drinker; but not a total abstinent either.

Not to do with the AspieSocial, but my own curiosity; I would like to hear what you think of Canadian healthcare (like? / dislike?). I know it's not perfect, but at least everybody has insurance; more than can be said for USA. I am a folk musician/singer/songwriter and activist for affordable healthcare. I also wrote 3 autism awareness songs.
