other people who are fabulous just like you

That's me on my first bike (yeah another old picture, I'll add a new one next time ;D). I was 2 years old and barely walked, and didn't talk. But I could ride a bike! Yayy! LOL. Life has many accomplishments, big or small. I believe most people take some accomplishments for granted; especially when people are older. I know I do sometimes, even though I try not to. Today I got awarded for a very large accomplishment in my life. Today I graduated bartending school. I know, I know..."graduating BARTENDING school is a very large accomplishment??". Its not the bartending school I'm most proud of. It's me, for the first time in my life, wanting a major change (me getting off of dissability) and actually going forth and changing. That my friend is, yes, a very large accomplishment. I hope whenever I feel I need a change in the future, I will remember this and have the audacity to do it again.

But on a more basic note, this school training will hold a lot for me. I currently want to work at a United States Marine Corp Officers Club (aka "the O Club"). And coincidently enough, they are looking for bartenders right now. Which is freaking fantastic, I think. I plan to fill out the application on Friday and turn it in on Monday. I believe that I have a lot to give. A young woman with recent training of sufficient equipment and tools. I may have no to very little experience in a bar, but I am knowledgeable. And even people who have years of experience have to relearn the bar in a new job; so I'm not too far behind.

But wherever I end up working, and whenever, I will take my practices, and put everything I have into it. Which is the best thing I can ask for out of myself.
